Football in Shenyang Olympic Center
This is one of the stadiums staging the preliminary football matches come Beijing 2008. As you can see, it's also almost done!!!
Note: The stadium is located in Shenyang, a city north to Beijing.

The purpose of me setting up this blog is to keep track on the progress of Beijing 2008. I am personally very fascinated by the architecture of the Beijing 2008 Games. Just a personal opinion, I think the buildings are way cool! They will rank among the best stadiums ever built in the world. Hopefully, this will become a historical archive of the event. That's if I don't get lazy ;)

I heard on the news, that china is considering a very high tax on all private cars 1 year before the games starting august 2007, to help air pollution. is it true ?
your blog looks great and interesting. don't stop! keep tracking!
Hi, Saw your blog by chance and found it informative. I am planning to come to Beijing for the 2008 Olympic. I have already booked my tickets for the Opening ceremony and other events with my country's (Singapore) Olympic Council. But not sure if I will be allocated any tickets. I will appreciate if you can help me secure some tickets to the Olympic games, esp the Opening ceremony and advise me on accomodation and transport. I assume you are living in Beijing. Please email me at nomis88@pacific.net.sg for more details.
Darren - Well, they are even thinking of not allowing public cars into the city :). That should be announced closer to the Games.
anonymous - Thanks! :)
zeefood - Unfortunately, I am not in the position to help! If I can find a source, I will let you know :)
